Process Materials Exhibits Rotatable Sputtering Targets on Cathode-Compatible Backing Tubes in Booth 8037 at 2009 Intersolar North America
Livermore, CA – Process Materials, Inc. (PMI), a global supplier and manufacturer of rotatable and planar sputtering targets, materials and services for solar and photovoltaic (PV) applications, will display rotatable sputtering targets on cathode-compatible backing tubes, planar (flat) targets related to PV thin-film designs, and a variety of process materials in Booth 8037 at the Intersolar North America Conference, July 14-16, 2009 in San Francisco, Calif.
Materials on display will include:
- Zinc Oxide (ZnO)
- Alumina Doped Zinc Oxide, (ZnO )98 (Al2O3) 2 wt% (also known as AZO)
- Molybdenum (Mo)
- Titanium (Ti)
- Chromium (Cr)
- Copper Indium (Cu) 80 (In) 20 wt%
“Few companies can match our development experience with rotatable sputtering targets for photovoltaic manufacturers and other large-area coaters. Combine our expertise with the advanced rotatable cathodes developed by our sister company, Sputtering Components, Inc., and you have unique solutions for thin-film deposition and rotatable sputtering target applications,” said Process Materials National Sales Manager Peter Norlander.
Founded in 1998, Process Materials, Inc. is a global supplier and manufacturer of sputtering targets, evaporation materials, backing plates, backing tubes, and bonding services for the thin- film deposition industry. The company develops planar and rotatable sputtering targets using materials such as AZO, ITO, CuIn, Chomium, Molybdenum, Titanium, and Silicon, among others.
